Captain Bradley Smith has been fishing the waters around Panama City for over 30 years. He’s a lifelong local who enjoys taking families and first-time anglers out for a fun, relaxed day on the bay.
Every charter is run by Capt. Bradley himself — no deckhands, no handoffs to other salty captains — just a fun trip focused on catching fish and enjoying time together on the water.
What Is Fishing Like in Panama City?
When most people think about fishing in Panama City, they picture big boats heading offshore.
But the real charm is inshore.
Calm bays, nearshore rocks, and shallow grass flats hold some of the best action on the Florida Panhandle — and you don’t have to go far to find it. Redfish push the banks, big trout crush baits at sunrise, and flounder wait in the sandy drop-offs.
You’ll also have shots at black drum, sheepshead, and nearshore species like Spanish mackerel or sharks, all within sight of land.
